Basic Jewellery Making Techniques
(Beginner Level)
Get familiar with tools, terms, & techniques to make jewellery. Learn to attach clasps to different threads, tie knots for stretch bracelets, attach dangles to earrings & pendants to necklaces, & basic design principals. You'll make a stretch bracelet in the class. If you've never made any beaded jewellery (or you want a refresher), this is the class for you!

Basic Wirework
(Beginner Level)
Learn foundation skills with tools making perfect wire loops, used for many purposes including earring dangles, pendants on necklaces, and charms for bracelets. Advance further learning secrets of wrapped loops to give extra strength and finish to your projects. Then combine with beads to make earrings and/or linked bracelet!

Celestial Disc Earrings
(Beginner Level)
With 2-hole superduo beads, and needle and thread, you will create these stunning disc earrings. Light to wear while still making a statement no one could ignore! With over 70 colours to choose from, your design will always be original too!

Tree of Life Pendant
(Intermediate Level)
Learn to create a framework form (many different shapes are possible), then get twisting with wire of different gauge and colours to create a unique pendant piece, reflective of you. Include beads to enhance if you wish.

Pearl Stringing Technique
(Beginner Level)
Learn to thread and knot your pearls or beads onto silk, and finish using French Wire. This class is all about technique, and once you know the “tricks to the task” you’ll be able to thread and knot to your heart’s content! Whether it’s long tassel necklaces you want to make, or restringing your family pearls, this technique will open the door for it all…. (thanks to The Bead Hold).

Pohutukawa Flower Wire Earrings
(Intermediate Level)
The perfect illustration of a classic Kiwi summer! If you have foundation skills of making wrapped wire loops (learn this in Basic Wirework class), here you can learn to sculpt wire to make your own pohutukawa bloom earrings. Become master of the wire twist to create pieces that are light, lovely, and full of fun!

Easy & Elegant Bracelet
(Beginner Level)
This little cutie will grab you instantly. Stitched with needle and thread and seed beads, it is narrow to wear so great on its own or stacked with others, meaning you can create many many bracelet combos. Your available bead colour choices (there are HUNDREDS of seed beads in Beadazzle) mean you can make your bracelet to suit any occasion you have in mind. I'm sure this will become your new favourite, and an easy gift to make for others. So learn the basic techniques for stitched beading with this one, or if you are an experienced beader, go to town with design!

Macrame & Beads Bracelet
(Beginner Level)
Here's your chance to master some knots - Macrame that is! Combine them with beads and/or metal components to make every bracelet an original. You will also learn how to complete your bracelet with the very handy sliding macrame knot clasp. Come "Get Knotted" with Beadazzle!

Tila & Seed Beads Leather Wrap Bracelet Bracelet
(Beginner Level)
Beads stitched to leather edging, this bracelet will suit anyone! Using Tilas (colourful square beads) and/or seed beads you can keep things natural, or bling it up a bit; a single wrap or as many rounds as you wish - just show your style!

French Beaded Earrings
(Intermediate Level)
Learn the technique of threading seed beads on wire and sculpting them to make organic forms (known as French Beading), by making these delicate leaf shaped earrings. Very light to wear, and endless colour possibilities!

Booking your Class
All classes will take place at Beadazzle, Shop 3, 27 Mokoia Rd, Birkenhead.
3-hour free parking is available in the carpark building of Highbury Mall, which is just a few doors away from Beadazzle. Entry to the carpark is from Birkenhead Ave, or Mokoia Rd.

Deposit must be received at least 3 days before the class to secure your place. Eftpos or credit card payment of deposit only accepted in store. Bookings made in store will be confirmed immediately.
If you book by phone or email, we will send you Beadazzle’s bank account details for payment of the deposit. Once your deposit is received, we will email or phone you to confirm your place in the class.
Please note, your booking is not finalised until you have received this confirmation, and confirmations will be given on a first-come-first-served basis.
A minimum of 2 participants are required for a class to take place. Maximum for any class is 7 participants.
All deposits are non-refundable unless the class is cancelled by Beadazzle.
Private Classes
If a scheduled class time does not suit you, you can contact Beadazzle to arrange a Private Class time. $40 class fee if there is 1 participant; $30 per person class fee for 2 or more participants.
